My students love creating Art Cards. We have designs for spring, fall, and even for the holidays. This year we are painting photographs and turning those into Art Cards. That sounds crazy, but we discovered that our dark room photography could be painted with watercolor. These Art Cards will be shared with with a local farm that gave us plants and produce to photograph. \r\nOur old printer was on its last leg, and our Art Cards were not printing well. We had streaks and spots on our cards. Now we are back in business! \r\nWe are using our computer to work with Adobe Photoshop. We have to format our Artwork to fit on our 5x7 cards. Photoshop allows us to make corrections to our designs and adjust sizes so our Art fits well. We also use Photoshop to add titles and give credit to our student Artists. \r\nWe have cut our wait time in half by adding this computer to our classroom. Thank you so much for supporting our Artists! \r\nArt teaches our students creative problem solving. It increases self confidence and reminds our students that they can accomplish hard things.
