The new watercolors sets have been used for countless projects for all grades, as well as the clay and magnets, which are being used to make soon-to-be colorful fruit magnets! My 6th graders are currently designing different landscape postcards, and are utilizing any medium of their choosing to do so. They've decided to use watercolor pencils, pastels, tempera, normal colored pencils- anything in their now readily available arsenal to creative express themselves to the fullest!\r\n\r\nWhen I first got my supplies in, my 5th graders were with me and were so excited to see all their new supplies being unboxed. They even insisted on helping me organize where they all go! They've especially taken much pride in decorating both pencil sharpeners to match different holidays every month, all on their own. I love to see them so free and imaginative whenever they come in to my classroom, more so than ever before!\r\n\r\nMy next projects I hope to be more tactile and 3D, so all the leftover clay I have after the magnets will be utilized to possibly make coasters, or even small bag charms.
