In our Family and Consumer Sciences classes, students have been using the sewing materials to create hands-on projects like stuffies, pillows and ornaments that we will hopefully enter into the Yuma County Fair this year. The excitement on their faces when they first saw the new supplies was priceless — they couldn't wait to dive in and start creating. These tools have made it possible for every student to actively participate, regardless of experience level, and to take pride in completing projects they can truly call their own.\r\n\r\nIn addition to our sewing projects, your donation also helped us expand our financial literacy curriculum with new Teachers Pay Teachers resources. All chromebooks are charged and ready to go everyday which makes teaching much smoother and productive.\r\n\r\nStudents love taking lead rolls such as making sure all chromebooks are plugged in and in proper place before leaving the classroom. An extra desk space for assignments where we moved around the classroom, and even used as a straight edge for our more artsy writing assignments. \r\n\r\nThank you again for donating to this project!
