We have been using these resources during classroom assessments and independent work. The headphones allow students to listen carefully to questions, passages, and other testing materials without being distracted by the sounds around them. The privacy folders also help students stay focused on their own work and feel more comfortable during assessments. When my students first saw the new materials, they were excited to have their own headphones and privacy folders to use, and they quickly understood how these tools would help create a quieter and more focused testing environment.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the school year, these resources will be used regularly for classroom assessments, district testing, and independent activities. Our next steps are to continue building students' confidence and independence as they demonstrate everything they are learning. Having the right tools available helps ensure that students can focus on doing their best without unnecessary distractions. The materials have been so helpful for my students this year. The class and I had an unboxing party to see all of the new learning tools for students. \r\n\r\nThe Play-Doh was especially helpful to build hand strength, encourage creativity, and use as a tool for math and reading. They learned through play, which is exactly how kindergarteners learn best! \r\n\r\nThe LCD tablets and pouches made our listening and writing part of our learning day more successful. The pouches protect the writing tablets and allow for easy organization; this gave us a quick and smooth transition for this learning time each day. It was very helpful to have a writing tool that did not provide odor, dust, and lost pieces like we do with dry erase boards, markers, and easers. \r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my kindergarten students this year and for years to come.
