Because of your kindness, my counseling room is now equipped with new materials that we use during every counseling session. These resources have helped create a more welcoming, supportive, and engaging space where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and participating in activities that support their social, emotional, and behavioral growth.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials in the counseling room, they were excited and curious to use them. Many of them shared how much they enjoyed the new activities, and I noticed that they became more open, focused, and motivated during our sessions. The materials have helped students better understand their emotions, practice coping strategies, and build important skills such as communication, self-regulation, and problem-solving.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue to use these materials in every session to support students' ongoing growth and well-being. Your generosity has made a lasting impact by strengthening our counseling program and showing students that there are people who truly care about their success and mental health. That's not a small feat when in the hands of 6th graders! 😃 I don't think I'll go back to folders or binders. We save so much time setting up for class. The kids keep their pencils sharpened and actually take the collected shavings straight to the trash. I was nervous about that, but so far so good. They use the red and blue pencils to brighten up their notes, keep whiteboards clean and ready to go for the next class, and slide their notes right into the bags, nice and flat, and ready to use when it's time to practice or study for tests.\r\n\r\nMy room looks nicer too! The stray paper problem is almost non-existent. I even have students in each class who volunteer to grab the bags out of the crates and set them out for everyone. At the end of class: supplies zip in the little bag, little bag and papers in the big bag, big bag zipped, all back in the crate for the next day. The routine is set and we're ready for the next day. Thanks so much for your contribution. We all appreciate it. ☺️","fullyFundedDate":1753327538619,"projectUrl":"project/math-teaching-learning-management-star/9315529/","projectTitle":"Math Teaching & Learning Management Starts With Organized Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Elizondo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8656019_orig.jpg?crop=2366,2366,x0,y299&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1721924228354","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/anna-elizondo"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_63533","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":693,"numTeachers":47,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":7,"percentWhite":17,"percentIndigenous":2,"percentLatinx":68,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":3,"gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"14.7:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":60.1,"schoolId":63533,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Mansfeld Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Mansfeld Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/arizona/tucson-unified-school-district/mansfeld-middle-school/63533"}
