Your contributions have made a tremendous difference in the lives of my students, and I am thrilled to share how we are using the new resources to create a more engaging and motivating learning environment.\r\n\r\nThe rolling carts have been a game-changer for organizing and transporting supplies between grade levels. During a recent project, my students used the carts to set up a \"Leadership Fair\" where they showcased their understanding of *The 7 Habits of Happy Kids*. Each group created posters and presentations about one of the habits, and the carts made it easy to move materials like markers, paper, and books between classrooms. The foam mats have also been a hit—students now have a comfortable space to sit during group discussions, which has made them more eager to participate.\r\n\r\nThe pencil sharpeners have been a lifesaver! We go through so many pencils during our creative writing sessions, and having reliable sharpeners has saved us time and frustration. The pocket chart and prize wheel have become essential tools for keeping students motivated. For example, during our weekly vocabulary challenges, students earn spins on the prize wheel for mastering new words, and the pocket chart helps me track their progress.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials arrived, my students were beyond excited! They couldn't wait to explore the prize wheel and see how it worked. One student even said, \"This is like a game show in our classroom!\" The foam mats were an instant favorite, and the students immediately claimed their spots on the floor for our next group activity. Seeing their faces light up when they realized these resources were for them was truly heartwarming.\r\n\r\nRight now, we're diving into a new project called \"Leadership in Action.\" Students are working in teams to identify ways they can apply the 7 Habits in their daily lives, both at school and at home. They'll be creating short skits and videos to share their ideas, and the rolling carts will help us transport props and equipment. The prize wheel will continue to motivate them as they earn rewards for teamwork and creativity.\r\n\r\nYour support has not only provided us with essential tools but has also inspired my students to believe in themselves and their ability to achieve great things. As Lou Holtz said, \"Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.\" Thanks to you, my students are motivated, engaged, and ready to take on any challenge!","fullyFundedDate":1669248508425,"projectUrl":"project/help-future-leaders-be-motivated-and-org/6785795/","projectTitle":"Help Future Leaders be Motivated and Organized!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Dowdle","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8666815_orig.jpg?crop=716,716,x281,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1740012276476","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8666815"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_72488","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":820,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":85,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":7,"percentWhite":26,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":61,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 8","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":56.7,"schoolId":72488,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Arizona City Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Arizona City Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/arizona/toltec-school-district-22/toltec-elementary-school/72488"}
