The handheld lens and microscope have already enriched my students overall learning. The surprise and excitement on each of my students' faces when I opened the box was indescribable. \r\n\r\nMy students had the opportunity to learn about careers that use microscopes and handheld microscope lenses. Students learned that scientists in various fields ask questions, make predictions, and explore through lenses how the smallest things could be discovered to answer questions and offer more questions. \r\nMy students have also learned the parts of a microscope, how to use it, and investigated the new world out there while using a microscope. My students are looking forward to investigating plants, parts of insects, and so much more.
