To do this I teach my students how to build a digital portfolio with all the artwork they've created in my class. \r\n\r\nQuarterly they have to update their portfolio with their artwork by photographing, editing, and uploading their artwork to their portfolio. \r\nIn years past, this process has been very challenging, but the 6 new iPads that I purchased through Donors Choose have made photographing, editing, and sharing student work much easier. We no longer have to rely on personal cell phones and the distractions they cause or tackle the obstacles associated with students not having phones, not having cell service, or not having good photo editing apps.\r\n\r\nNow, everyone can photograph, edit, and share their artwork easily, thereby closing the socioeconomic gap in our school and allowing everyone an equal opportunity to be successful.
