It has been wonderful to watch students proudly read a book on their own and realize, \"I can read!\" The alphabet and number dough stampers and magnetic counting activities have also become favorite hands-on learning choices. Students are practicing letters, numbers, counting, and fine motor skills while feeling like they are playing.\r\n\r\nThe Trace & Draw Projector has been another big hit! The students love choosing pictures to trace and create, and they are strengthening the fine motor control they need for handwriting at the same time. The large tape measure has also given us a fun way to explore measurement and compare the sizes of objects around our classroom.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue incorporating these materials into our literacy and math centers as our skills become more challenging throughout the year. The BOB Books will help students progress toward becoming more independent readers, while the hands-on math and creative materials will give them opportunities to practice new concepts in meaningful ways.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students and giving them resources that make learning exciting, engaging, and fun. We did a creative science lesson on the history of the automobile that was a hit, and the students absolutely loved designing their foam race cars.
