My students and I are LOVING the new materials and it has made the start of the year an absolute dream. The rolling white board has become our Fundations \"hub\" and the students love getting to go up and move the letter tiles we have on it or write the word the tiles make. Engagement has never been better!\r\n\r\nThe math games (noodlers and the math dominoes) have been a huge hit with my students who are ready for a challenge during math game time. They love getting to strategize the use of their pieces and challenge themselves with difficult word problems. We are moving into double digit addition soon, so hopefully all of the students will be ready for some challenging games! My students were very excited to start the new year with their new supplies. The headphones, noise cancelling earmuffs, and bouncy bands are really helping them improve their focus in the classroom. \r\n\r\nThe students love the bouncy bands! When I look around the room, I see all of their feet silently fidgeting while they focus on their work. Having the extra \"wiggle room\" really seems to be helping them with their hard work! \r\n\r\nThe students also love the noise cancelling ear muffs. I have a lot of students who are easily distracted by noises in the classroom and these earmuffs are really helping them learn how to focus on what's important.\r\n\r\nOf course, they all love the headphones! Having a brand new pair of headphones is a luxury that many of them have not yet had in school.
