Because of your generosity, my students now have materials we use every day. The dry erase markers and erasers have quickly become go to tools, especially during poetry lessons where students break down lines and share their thinking on whiteboards in a low pressure way.\r\n\r\nThe headphones have also made a big difference. Students can follow along with audio and stay focused, which has helped build their confidence. One moment that stood out was watching more students participate and revise their ideas during a poetry activity. Engagement across the class has definitely improved.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials arrived, students were excited and ready to use them. Having their own supplies helped them feel more prepared and included. The folders are helping with organization, and the small incentives help keep students on task.\r\n\r\nWe will keep using these materials as we build reading and writing skills through poetry. Students are growing more confident in analyzing, writing, and sharing their ideas.
