On Thursdays, all students at our K-6 school, participate in STEAM (we call it \"ROAR Time\" since we are the Smoketree Cougars). Students are excited to learn about topics, which in past, they have not had access to learn due to limited funds and supplies. With these new supplies, students enter our ROAR classroom with a smile on their faces. They love coming to ROAR and are excited to see what they will be learning that day. Students engage in hands-on learning activities using the supplies we purchased through this grant. Even our tinniest kindergarteners participate in ROAR activities and are learning new vocabulary words every time they enter our classrooms. Our intermediate students are getting experiences which in the past, we were unable to provide.
