We use our new materials daily! I really wanted my students to be able to get up and move during learning because being a 3rd-5th grade student and sitting all day is a lot to ask sometimes. So, the students use the whiteboards and markers to collaborate with each other but also to get up and move. \r\n\r\nThe students were very excited to try something new with the materials in the classroom. I really admire my students' ability to try new things and take risks. With these whiteboards, they get to try new things in their learning and take risks in an environment where they feel safe to learn from each other and learn from their mistakes. \r\n\r\nThe next steps for my students is to have them working together at the vertical whiteboards to do the homework pages rather than taking it home. This allows me as the teacher to make quick formative assessments, but also allows them to reflect on \r\ntheir knowledge of the lesson that day with the support of a partner. These materials have created such a positive shift in learning for these students and I can't wait to see all the things they will continue to find success in this year!","fullyFundedDate":1746636242284,"projectUrl":"project/show-it-write-it-share-it/9249116/","projectTitle":"Show it! Your support has truly transformed the way my students engage with learning. What was once just a table has now become an interactive space where students are eager to share ideas, solve problems, and participate in activities in a hands-on way.\r\n\r\nSince adding the dry erase surface, I've seen an immediate boost in student engagement during centers and small group instruction. Students love being able to work directly on the table, whether it's solving math problems, practicing spelling, or brainstorming together. It has created a more collaborative and exciting learning environment, and I've noticed students who were once hesitant now feel more confident participating.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has made a lasting impact in my classroom.
