The students were very excited to receive their own set of headphones and a mouse to use in class this school year. \r\n\r\nI discovered quickly that many of my students did not actually know how to use a mouse properly so in the first couple weeks of school we've been practicing using it with their dominant hand and the difference between right and left clicking. It has helped them navigate pages more efficiently and learning how to use it has been great practice for this skill in the future. \r\n\r\nAdditionally, the headphones have been far more comfortable than the ear buds that are given to each student by the school. These kids need to take long tests for their reading and math benchmarks and having headphones that do not irritate their heads and ears has been so much better for their concentration. \r\n\r\nI have taught the expectations on handle our materials so they will last as long as possible and I see my students treating them with respect. They were also very happy that someone cared enough about our class to give us these things.
