The sublimation equipment you provided—including a printer, oven, heat presses, and consumable materials such as tumblers, keychains, mousepads, and coasters—has added an exciting new dimension to our program. Combined with our existing screen printing, embroidery, and large-format printing equipment, these new tools allow students to explore an even wider range of professional production methods and creative possibilities.\r\n\r\nOur student-run enterprise, Nex Design, serves customers both on campus and throughout the community. With these new resources, students are gaining valuable hands-on experience while producing a broader selection of customized products. This project would not have been possible without the dedication of our student leadership team, including President Abraham, Vice President Haven, Treasurer Alice, and PR Director Auriel, whose hard work and commitment help make Nex Design successful.\r\n\r\nAlthough we have only recently begun testing and integrating this equipment into our workflow, we are already seeing its potential to enhance student learning and real-world skill development. Without parental involvement, the classroom can be a difficult place to create a positive school to home environment.\r\n\r\n\r\nMany of the students I teach have sensory needs. the items I was able to purchase supported direct speech and sensory goals. The freestanding whiteboards have replaced smaller shower boards that my students had been working on previously. Because of the change to easels, my students have been more willing and more able to collaborate on tasks. \r\n\r\nEach of my groups works around an easel on a problem to try to collaboratively launch into content before any direct instruction. I have seen on multiple occasions that my students were able to discover the content before I even spoke a word about instruction. This has allowed for higher retention of material and greater transfer of ideas from one unit to the next.\r\n\r\nI have thoroughly enjoyed changing my teaching style this year and it wouldn't have happened without the generous donations from you.
