Through simulated stores, budgeting activities, money-management games, and real-life scenarios, students are able to apply academic skills to practical situations.\r\n\r\nThe donations have also increased student engagement, confidence, independence, and participation. Exceptional learners benefit from repeated practice and concrete, hands-on experiences, and the Financial Literacy Center provides a safe space where students can learn at their own pace and celebrate their successes.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, these donations help prepare our students for greater independence beyond the classroom. The financial skills they develop can support future success at home, in the community, and eventually in the workplace. By investing in our Financial Literacy Center, donors are investing not only in classroom resources but also in our students' ability to make informed financial decisions and become more confident, responsible, and independent members of their communities.\r\n\r\nWe are deeply grateful to DonorsChoose and our generous donors for making this learning experience possible.
