Most students learn better with hands on manipuatives and with your help, my students are able to use what was given to our classroom to help them solve math problems, write and spell words, and learn how their mouths move when saying a sound or word. \r\n\r\nIn first grade, our end goal each year is to have our students add and subtract fluently within 20. They have enjoyed using the dice in dice to work and solve math problems. We were also given ten frames which help those students who are still learning how to add and stubtraction within 10. It is a great visual for them and hands on. \r\n\r\nIn my class, I have nine students who are English Language Learners. The mirroring my sounds has worked great for them and their pronunciation of letters and sounds. \r\n\r\nWe appriciate you taking your time and funds to help our class grow and learn through manipulatives!","fullyFundedDate":1767202998913,"projectUrl":"project/improving-retention-focus-with-the-use/9792117/","projectTitle":"Improving Retention & Focus with the use of Manipulatives","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hurtado","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7802879"},{"teacherId":7135871,"projectId":9126710,"letterContent":"This project has helped me in the classroom for classroom management and student behavior charts.
