Because of your funding, we were able to purchase items for our Positive Behavior Store, known as the PAWS Store, which has had a meaningful and positive impact on our students and school community.\r\n\r\nThe PAWS Store plays an important role in supporting our school-wide goal of increasing and recognizing positive behavior and social-emotional growth. Students earn PAWS tickets by demonstrating expected behaviors such as being respectful, responsible, safe, and kind. These tickets can then be used to shop at the PAWS Store, reinforcing positive choices in a concrete and motivating way.\r\n\r\nSince the implementation of the PAWS Store, we have seen increased student engagement and enthusiasm around positive behavior expectations. Students are more motivated to make good choices, take responsibility for their actions, and show kindness toward others. The store has also provided opportunities for students to practice important social-emotional skills, including goal-setting, patience, decision-making, and self-control as they save and spend their tickets.\r\n\r\nPerhaps most importantly, the PAWS Store helps ensure that positive behavior is noticed, celebrated, and valued. For many students, this recognition builds confidence and a sense of belonging, contributing to a more positive and supportive school climate.\r\n\r\nYour support has made a lasting difference for our students, and we are truly grateful for your investment in their success—both academically and socially. Thank you for helping us create an environment where positive behavior is encouraged and celebrated every day.","fullyFundedDate":1763868960868,"projectUrl":"project/paws-store-funds/9908473/","projectTitle":"PAWS Store Funds","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Bloodworth","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3587980_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1513726833338","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3587980"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_53956","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":558,"numTeachers":37,"percentFrplEligible":39,"percentAsian":4,"percentBlack":9,"percentWhite":49,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":25,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"15.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"UNCLASSIFIED","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":75.3,"schoolId":53956,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Arrowhead Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Arrowhead Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/arizona/deer-valley-unified-school-district/arrowhead-elementary-school/53956"}
