"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." ~Benjamin Franklin As an Educator for ALL students that I encounter, my motto as well as my schools motto Bellair Elementary is "High Levels of Learning for ALL!" I believe the only way to do this is to involve the student in their own learning by teaching the student the material the only way they themselves will understand. By being taught in their own personal learning style through, hands-on, interest based, real-life scenarios, with cross-curricular connections and just enough rigor to keep them thinking about what they are learning day and night that they crave to learn more and can't stop talking about it. Sadly in order to do this I am not funded to be able to do just that. We are very creative in coming up with as many ways as possible to do so but that is why I have come to this wonderful organization DonorsChoose.org to ask for help.
