The experiences of my students have been greatly enriched. \r\nWe join together on the red rug each morning. At other times, it is an area of warmth and play. It has allowed the students to gain form, and for those that are able to sit on the floor, and for those that need chairs, the circle is visible and offers an intimate area for learning. \r\nThe rocking boat/bridge was used with caution by all students, but soon became an item that is routinely used. We use it for boat songs and rocking to support self regulation, and crossing the bridge to support balance and spatial awareness. It has been an absolutely blessing for our special education program!\r\n\r\nWe have been routinely painting with water color and the students have been enriched by the experience of color.
