These items may seem simple, but they make a big difference in our daily learning. The headphones help students focus during reading and math programs, while the microfiber cloths keep our classroom clean and welcoming.\r\n\r\nThe paper organizer and chart hanger help us stay organized and make learning materials easily accessible. The new stools are a favorite—they give students flexible seating options that make our classroom feel even more special. With the addition of new whiteboard markers, students can actively engage in lessons and practice skills in real-time, enhancing their understanding and retention. These resources have made learning more interactive, allowing students to work through problems together, share strategies, and build a stronger connection to the material. \r\n\r\nThe learning games provided through DonorsChoose have also played a significant role in boosting students' confidence and enhancing their ability to work together. These games not only make learning fun, but they also encourage collaboration, problem-solving, and critical thinking. As students work together in pairs or small groups, they become more confident in their abilities and are motivated to try new strategies without fear of failure. This boost in confidence has helped them approach challenges with a positive mindset, resulting in an increased willingness to participate and a deeper understanding of the concepts being taught.","fullyFundedDate":1738827412281,"projectUrl":"project/learning-essentials/9075105/","projectTitle":"Learning Essentials","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Munoz","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9880058_orig.jpg?crop=800,800,x0,y58&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1737515484122","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9880058"},{"teacherId":9782748,"projectId":9093204,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for donating to our classroom project! The students have not yet played with play doh in the classroom this year and were so excited to get the chance to do so. \r\n\r\nWe started our lesson with a Spot book to learn a little bit about kindness. As a group we talked about how feelings grow and change just like in the book. Then we got to go to the table and make our own Spots. There were many different versions of a kindness spot, some smiled, some were individual balls, some were indents, and one was a basket full of kindness. \r\n\r\nWe will truly enjoy learning about emotions, making them tangible, and discovering that with a little bit of work we are able to change them.
