We use our Brain Bins daily! Each day students come in and are able to create their own builds and explain them to partners at their tables. They are able to ask questions and think about what changes they could add or take away to improve it and why. We have a designated challenge build on Fridays where we work in teams to combine our bins and create specific builds. For example, building a habitat for a Polar Bear or creating a garden where bees can pollinate. \r\nStudents feel empowered by being able to use their imagination to create what they are thinking. They are building confidence in their own abilities because they are building more and more complex ideas when they have the tools and time dedicated to do so. Their favorite thing to build is the garden and the vehicles with wheels. However, all of the materials are loved and utilized by all of our students.
