Research shows that one way to enhance this learning is by providing children with multiple opportunities to work with hands-on manipulatives, including letters, letter boards, El-konin boxes, etc. \r\n\r\nYour donation allowed me to purchase a student-friendly kit for every child in my kindergarten class. It has everything a kindergartener needs to explore reading and spelling in a small group or whole group setting. \r\n\r\nBecause of this project, my students not only improved their reading and spelling skills, but they became more excited about small group work.
