Your contribution to our program has brought essential resources to the brass players of Vista Grande High School, and we are beyond grateful.\r\n\r\nIn our rural community, securing quality maintenance supplies can often be a significant challenge. Thanks to your support, our students now have reliable access to the valve oil, slide grease, and mouthpiece brushes they need to properly and consistently care for their trumpets, trombones, baritones, and tubas.\r\n\r\nThe impact of these materials goes far beyond simply keeping our instruments in working order. Your donation has directly supported our students in several vital ways:\r\n\r\nEmpowering Ownership: We have successfully integrated these new supplies into our classroom instrument care lessons. Students are learning firsthand how to take responsibility for their equipment, fostering a deeper sense of pride in their musicianship.\r\n\r\nElevating Performance: With properly lubricated and cleaned instruments, our brass section is able to produce a clearer, higher-quality sound during both our daily rehearsals and public performances.\r\n\r\nPreserving Resources: By practicing consistent, daily maintenance, our students are actively preventing damage and buildup, which helps our program significantly reduce costly, avoidable repairs down the road.\r\n\r\nBy giving our students access to the right tools, you are teaching them lifelong skills and ensuring our instruments stay performance-ready throughout the entire year. Thank you for believing in our band program and for investing in our students' musical growth.","fullyFundedDate":1775786800822,"projectUrl":"project/brass-maintenance-supplies-december-202/9959815/","projectTitle":"Brass Maintenance Supplies (December 2025)","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Moore","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8364842_orig.jpg?crop=3373,3373,x338,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1731945488749","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mr-moore-music-class"},{"teacherId":8646577,"projectId":10375980,"letterContent":"I have been sitting here trying to find the right words, and honestly, none of them feel big enough. Because of your generosity, my students in our brand-new dual enrollment Human Anatomy and Physiology class will soon get to do something I have dreamed about for years. When those human microscope slides arrive, we will start with real tissue samples, and I can already picture the scene. I will dim the lights, gather my students around their microscopes, and let them focus in on actual human cells for the very first time. This isn't a class where they read about the body and move on. These are teenagers earning genuine college credit, and thanks to you, they will study science the way real scientists do, with their own eyes and their own hands.\r\n\r\nI know exactly how they will react, because I have watched it happen before. There will be that half-second of silence, that squint, and then the gasp. \"Wait, that's real?\" one of them will whisper. Someone will wave a friend over. The quiet student in the back, the one who swears she isn't \"a science person,\" will lean in a little closer and forget to look away. That moment of pure wonder is why I teach. You are about to give it to a whole room full of young people who are just beginning to imagine themselves as nurses, doctors, and researchers.\r\n\r\nFrom here, our next steps will build on that first spark. We will compare healthy tissue to diseased tissue, trace how individual cells come together to form the organs keeping each of us alive, and connect what they see under the lens to the bigger stories their bodies tell every single day. This is the foundation their college coursework will stand on, and you helped lay it. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. You didn't simply fund equipment. You told my students that their curiosity matters, and that someone out there believes in the futures they are reaching toward.\r\nWith deep gratitude,\r\nYour grateful teacher","fullyFundedDate":1784400709863,"projectUrl":"project/prepared-microscope-slides/10375980/","projectTitle":"Prepared Microscope Slides","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Cassalata","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8646577_orig.jpg?crop=1944,1944,x328,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1661390953340","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8646577"},{"teacherId":3617795,"projectId":6274826,"letterContent":"I am thankful for your donation and support!
