The funding of my project will provide my two classrooms with much needed educational games. These games will be used as learning tools. Educational games provide many learning opportunities for students in a fun and exciting way. The students will learn many skills that can't be taught in a traditional classroom setting. They learn socialization, leadership, teamwork, and problem solving skills. Gifted students function in a way that is different, and difficult for most people to understand. Many people don't feel that they need "special attention" because they are already smart. When in fact, they need the MOST attention. They need to learn how to play with others. How to communicate their thoughts and feelings. They also need to know that you can't ALWAYS be the winner. I feel that the games I have chosen will unify my classrooms, and make learning FUN!
