We have really been enjoying the fun interactive ways to learning through our leap frog learning tools such as shakers that give sensory input along with music instruments, songs, colors, shapes and can be easy for my special education students who have fine motor delays. My students LOVE the Doodle Boards, we work on these daily to write numbers and letters along with students spelling and writing their names. This is fun for them to draw with and it is a more engaging way to complete writing tasks. \r\n\r\nTeaching and learning has become so fun through our 3D Leap Frog storybooks and learning tool, Leap Frog Letter Go Round which is perfect for my younger students who may have difficulty doing work at a table. We are able to sit and do fun things. We work on our life skills of zippers, buttons with our plush buckle board. The scissors and adaptive table scissor is perfect for out special education students and gaining more independence in their cutting and fine motor skills. \r\n\r\nA very special thank you for the technology that I can use such as a laptop to complete IEPs along with teaching my college courses for future teachers through Grand Canyon University. The IPad has been amazing for completing assessments with my students to best progress monitor students for the IEP goals and IEP data for their present levels.","fullyFundedDate":1773768288153,"projectUrl":"project/special-education-technology-and-sensory/10147692/","projectTitle":"Special Education Technology and Sensory Learning Play","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Todnem","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10364021"},{"teacherId":6958332,"projectId":10050749,"letterContent":"The donation of light covers, comfy chairs, lap desk storage, a sensory swing pod, pencil sharpeners, calming strips, and other classroom tools will have a meaningful impact on students' learning, comfort, and emotional well-being. Comfy chairs and flexible seating options give students comfortable places to work, which can improve concentration, engagement, and classroom participation. Lap desk storage helps students stay organized and gives them easier access to materials, encouraging independence and responsibility.\r\n\r\nThe sensory swing pod and calming strips provide important sensory support for students who may feel overwhelmed, anxious, or restless during the school day. These tools offer healthy ways for students to regulate emotions, refocus attention, and return to learning more successfully. Pencil sharpeners and other classroom supplies reduce disruptions and ensure students always have the tools they need to complete their work efficiently.\r\n\r\nOverall, these donations support both academic success and emotional growth by creating a more inclusive, calming, and student-centered classroom environment.
