Since the arrival of the new resources, our students have been using them every day and the impact has already been tremendous. \r\n\r\nSome of my favorite moments using these tools have been when our students who have level 2 and level 3 Autism started to complete the puzzles on their own, say shapes and colors and have started to 'put in' objects more. This is all because of your generous donation to our classroom. When they go to their independent task center to work, the first thing they reach for are the puzzles or the materials to 'put in'. \r\n\r\nRight now, putting the objects in the plastic container and the different puzzles are helping them follow commands, being successful in doing something that is challenging for them and giving them confidence to apply those skills elsewhere not only in the classroom, but at home. Once these skills are mastered without the students needing adult support or prompting, we can refine them with work that is a little more challenging. \r\n\r\nThank you again for giving my students resources that inspire curiosity, creativity and pride in their learning.
