I was able to obtain a teacher pay teacher gift card and a new classroom clock.\r\n\r\nMy students were really excited about the clock, a few of them even said they have a similar one at home. I love the clock, it is split into colors that resemble the color wheel and the minute and hour hands are labeled. Students find the labels on the clock helpful and are starting to learn how to tell time.\r\n\r\nThe gift card has allowed me to purchase curriculum for my classes. I have completed several successful painting projects. We have been creating small stamps and working on our larger block cuts. Students have really enjoyed using the cutting tools and have been very engaged in their creating.\r\n\r\nStudents were excited to see the variety different tools and paint available. They started off the printmaking unit by completing several questions on paper and were very curious about what tools we have available in the art room. \r\n\r\nOnce students are done with print making they will begin pyrography. Students completed a drawing challenge during the month of October where they used the micro-pen sets. In November they used the hand and figure manikins to learn the basics of drawing human figures. Students also utilized the shape templates to create their gingerbread house drawings for their 2-point perspective projects. Recently students have used the paint to create their Dia de Los Muertos sugar skull projects.
