We have had a blast making Pierre the Penguin together. My students were so excited when they each got their own learn-to-crochet kit, and we all had fun learning or developing our crochet skills together.\r\n\r\nSince we received these kits, the members of the Fiber Arts Club have gotten into crocheting, and several students have started their own projects from other patterns or kits they have found. One student has made several stuffed bears as gifts for friends and teachers; another is currently working on a chicken; and a third has made a bouquet. \r\n\r\nOur next step is to make a big, collaborative project. We are planning to make granny squares to combine into a big blanket representing us all.
