Because of your kindness, our classrooms now have access to an exciting new tool that brings learning to life in a hands-on, creative way. Our students were thrilled to see the printer arrive and they have begun to research which projects they are interested in printing. \r\n\r\nThis project will provide our students the opportunity to be exposed to newer technology and allows them the chance to learn how this technology works. Many industries incorporate 3D printing, with medical, dental and product design being a few of these. This can help prepare our students for future careers. \r\n\r\nMany schools are beginning to use 3D printing in the classroom to engage students in deepening their understanding of concepts taught. Our middle school students are currently studying geology and are anxious to print some geologic formations for further study.
