The excitement when the materials first arrived was wonderful! Students were eager to use the supplies, share ideas, and see what they could create. It was especially rewarding to watch students who may not always feel confident in traditional academic settings discover a sense of accomplishment and pride in something they made themselves. \r\n\r\nThese activities provided more than just a creative outlet; they offered a positive way to manage stress, build resilience, and connect with others. We want students to feel comfortable trying new things, making mistakes, and discovering their own interests and strengths without the pressure of getting everything right. Our next steps are to continue providing new projects that encourage imagination, problem-solving, teamwork, and healthy emotional expression.
