Your generosity has already made such a difference in our classroom, and my students and I are incredibly grateful.\r\n\r\nWe have been putting our new materials to use during our daily math lessons, small-group activities, and hands-on practice. One of my favorite things has been seeing students use the resources to work together and practice math in ways that feel more engaging than a traditional worksheet. These materials have given me more opportunities to get students out of their seats, working with their classmates, and actively participating in their learning. It has been especially rewarding to see students who normally struggle with math become more willing to participate and ask questions.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, they were SO excited! There is something special about getting a new box of classroom supplies, and they immediately wanted to know what everything was for and when we would get to use it. They were genuinely excited that people they had never even met cared enough about their education to help provide materials for our classroom. Being able to tell them that these resources were donated specifically for them made the moment even more meaningful.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the school year, our next step is to use these resources to build stronger math skills while giving students more opportunities for hands-on practice, collaboration, and problem-solving. We are currently building the foundational skills that we will rely on throughout the year, and I am excited to incorporate these materials into upcoming lessons, review activities, small groups, and projects. My goal is to continue creating a classroom where students feel supported, challenged, and maybe even a little excited about doing math!\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in my students and our classroom. Our students are more motivated to complete their online work as well as their group work with us. They are loving the variety of the granola bars that were in the box. The slim Jim's have been the biggest hit, as well as the fruit snacks the pringles as well.
