With the money you donated, I was able to buy incentives for the students that they absolutely love. I was also able to buy some essential supplies, like erasers and dry-erase markers.\r\n\r\nI recently created a currency system in my class that incentivizes completing school work and exhibiting good behavior. Students receive stamps for completing bell work, turning in quizzes and assignments, passing exams, scoring high, finishing classes, and many more behavioral/academic achievements. These stamps add up to cards, and they can exchange cards for prizes of their choosing. Your donations allowed me to purchase highly desirable snacks and fidget toys that the students absolutely adore. Every time I pull out the box of snacks and toys, their eyes light up, and they work very hard to earn cards to purchase these items. My hope is that they completely clean out my supply by the end of the school year. Now that they understand the reward system, I don't doubt that they will!\r\n\r\nIt's also great having fresh, quality markers for working on the whiteboard with the students.
