With the addition of new headphones, students are able to work independently without distractions, especially during online activities or small group rotations. The stools at the back table give students a flexible seating option, which has helped them stay more comfortable and productive during work time. Fidgets have also been a great support for students who need help maintaining focus, allowing them to stay engaged without disrupting their learning.\r\nWhat has been most exciting for students is having tools that feel personal and supportive to their needs. They enjoy using the headphones and flexible seating because it gives them a sense of independence and choice in how they learn. The fidgets, in particular, have been a favorite because they help students manage their energy and stay on task.\r\nCertain students have especially benefited from these additions. Students who struggle with focus or sensory needs have shown noticeable improvement in their ability to stay engaged during lessons. Additionally, quieter students or those who prefer working independently have really thrived with the headphones and structured workspaces. Being able to use the Apple AirPods Max for online small groups has also made instruction clearer and more effective, allowing for better communication and support during targeted learning time.\r\nOverall, these tools have helped create a more supportive, flexible, and productive learning environment for all students.","fullyFundedDate":1768099536324,"projectUrl":"project/enhancing-engagement-through-innovation/9992636/","projectTitle":"Enhancing Engagement Through Innovation and Inclusion","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Smith","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10399068"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_128272","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":254,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":53,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":3,"percentWhite":30,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":55,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 8","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":83.3,"schoolId":128272,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Da Vinci Tree Academy on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Da Vinci Tree Academy","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/arizona/arizona-department-of-education/da-vinci-tree-academy/128272"}
