It is very rare that the students have the opportunity to utilize brand new items for themselves. The students also liked the fact that someone is generous enough to spend their own money to give to them. One first grade student said, \"I feel so special that someone wanted to buy these (magnetic letters) for us!\"\r\nOne of the first activities we did with the magnetic letters was to practice our ABC order. Each kindergartner was able to have their own set of letters for the first time. They loved how it was magnetic letters and they did not lose a single piece! \r\nAnother group of students were able to try the Lego Gear Bots to create some fun figures! One fifth grader said, \"Why can't we work with Legos everyday?\" I am looking forward to continue using the Lego Gear Bots for future classes because they were such a hit!\r\nAs the school year is coming to a close, I look forward to making plans to continue finding new ways to use the items I received from your donations. I am sincerely so grateful for all your thoughtful giving.
