They were so excited to see the glowing decorations and enjoy a special celebration with their classmates! It was a memorable way for our students to reflect on their journey, celebrate their successes, and look forward to their next chapter. When they first saw everything, their reactions were a mix of curiosity and excitement. They were eager to try something new, and it quickly turned into a moment of discovery as they explored how each piece of equipment worked.\r\n\r\nIn one memorable P.E. session, students formed small groups and began practicing together. Some were learning how to properly hold a racket, while others focused on keeping the shuttlecock from hitting the ground. It was amazing to watch them encourage one another, celebrate small successes, and challenge themselves to improve. I noticed students proudly showing their stamina and quick reflexes, especially as they tried to keep rallies going longer each time.\r\n\r\nAnother meaningful impact is that students who don't typically enjoy basketball now have an alternative activity they genuinely look forward to. Badminton has given them a sense of inclusion and choice, helping more students stay active and engaged during P.E. time.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we plan to build on these experiences by introducing simple group challenges and mini-games that focus on teamwork, coordination, and skill development. For many of them, this was something special to look forward to, and it created a positive buzz throughout the classroom. Now, snacks have become a part of our daily routine. Students can choose a snack during morning recess while they play, and again in the afternoon after P.E. or during library time. Giving them this choice has helped them feel more comfortable and cared for in our classroom environment.\r\n\r\nOne of the most noticeable changes has been in STUDENT ENGAGEMENT AND BEHAVIOR. With their basic needs being met, students are more focused, easier to manage, and much more willing to participate in lessons and activities. I've seen students who were previously distracted or low-energy become active contributors during discussions and classroom projects. It's been a powerful reminder that when students feel supported, they are better able to learn and thrive.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we plan to continue integrating these snack times into our daily schedule to support sustained focus and participation.
