Because of your contributions, we were able to provide our clarinet and saxophone players with high-quality reeds and ensure our brass players have the valve and slide oil necessary to keep their instruments in peak condition. In a middle school band room, the lack of a simple $3 reed or a drop of oil can mean the difference between a student participating in the lesson or sitting on the sidelines. Your gift has removed those barriers, ensuring that every student has the tools they need to succeed from the moment they walk through my door.\r\n\r\nSince the supplies arrived, the atmosphere in our classroom has been vibrant and productive. It has been wonderful to see the students' faces light up when they realize they don't have to miss out on rehearsal just because of a broken reed or a stuck valve. These supplies have provided a sense of equity and relief for many of our families, allowing students to focus entirely on their musical growth and the joy of performing with their peers. We are currently using these materials to prepare for our upcoming performances, and the band has never sounded better!\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in these 250 young musicians and for helping us start our school year on such a high note. Your kindness has a direct and lasting impact on our classroom community, and we are so grateful to have you as part of our musical journey.","fullyFundedDate":1763102755718,"projectUrl":"project/keep-my-band-students-playing-with-new-r/9586752/","projectTitle":"Keep My Band Students Playing With New Reeds and Supplies!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Whitfield","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp381745_orig.jpg?crop=1155,1155,x163,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755109407685","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/381745"},{"teacherId":5407693,"projectId":9715535,"letterContent":"I can't seem to keep enough new, popular titles on our shelves - and it's a great problem to have! Students are now able to clearly see during labs because the lenses are scratch-free and comfortable to wear, which keeps them focused on the science instead of being distracted by foggy or uncomfortable goggles. Because they fit properly, students are more willing to wear them consistently and correctly, which has improved overall safety and compliance.\r\n\r\nBeyond safety, the new goggles have had a surprising impact on student engagement. When students feel comfortable and can see clearly, they approach labs with more confidence and enthusiasm. It has also saved me valuable instructional time—fewer complaints, less adjusting, and smoother lab transitions mean we can spend more time on learning and discovery.\r\n\r\nOverall, the new goggles have helped create a more professional, safe, and positive lab environment, giving students the tools they need to learn science effectively.","fullyFundedDate":1757965795640,"projectUrl":"project/clear-vision-safe-science/9701445/","projectTitle":"Clear Vision, Safe Science","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Miller-Jones","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2021793_orig.png?crop=400,400,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1757442484860","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2021793"},{"teacherId":5407693,"projectId":9035005,"letterContent":"Thank you for your donations!
