Because of your contributions, we were able to provide our clarinet and saxophone players with high-quality reeds and ensure our brass players have the valve and slide oil necessary to keep their instruments in peak condition. In a middle school band room, the lack of a simple $3 reed or a drop of oil can mean the difference between a student participating in the lesson or sitting on the sidelines. Your gift has removed those barriers, ensuring that every student has the tools they need to succeed from the moment they walk through my door.\r\n\r\nSince the supplies arrived, the atmosphere in our classroom has been vibrant and productive. It has been wonderful to see the students' faces light up when they realize they don't have to miss out on rehearsal just because of a broken reed or a stuck valve. These supplies have provided a sense of equity and relief for many of our families, allowing students to focus entirely on their musical growth and the joy of performing with their peers. It's incredible to see kids reading, talking, playing board games, and socializing again instead of seeing them staring at their phones during down-times like lunch, passing periods, etc. \r\n\r\nThis project added fresh titles to our busy bookshelves and most of the books have already been checked out multiple times.
