This donation has been such an wonderful addition to our art classroom because it has provided my students with exciting learning choices when they are finished with an art project. I have trained students to quietly choose one of these free choice options when they have completed their project and cleaned up their area. Instead of students repeatedly asking me \"I'm done, what do I do now?\", they can choose to do Picasso Magnetic Tiles, Magnetic blocks, Gear connectors, Brain Flakes, Playdough, and so much more! In addition, these engaging materials are perfect for free choice art days right before vacations. I love how these materials have taught my students to share, work together, problem solve, and be responsible. You're donation has been so impactful to my art classroom, and students look forward to using these fun learning materials again and again. Your kindness and generosity are so appreciated and we are so blessed by your donation!","fullyFundedDate":1755754488701,"projectUrl":"project/fun-and-engaging-extension-activities-fo/9618291/","projectTitle":"Fun and Engaging Extension Activities for Early Finishers!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hamacher","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2027540_orig.jpg?crop=1074,1074,x0,y21&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1620006646908","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2027540"},{"teacherId":9629870,"projectId":8564679,"letterContent":"The whiteboard set really helped my students during math. They were engaged and always willing to answer. I enjoyed seeing all the different ways students solved our math problems. The whiteboards allowed a great way for students to go up and show their work with their classmates. \r\nI would recommend whiteboards to any teachers to use during math and any teaching. The students always enjoyed using the whiteboard during any free time we had(which was rare). Thank you so much for the support! Now my students can print out their beautiful digital art designs on Epson photo paper and display their work for our school community to see. My students have been so excited to print out the sticker designs that they drew using the digital drawing app Procreate! The photo paper brought their wonderful designs to life and they were so colorful and looked like professional stickers. Having the Epson Printer, Colored Ink, and Photo paper has been a game changer because now I can show our school the amazing things my students have been learning in digital art. In addition, I am also so incredibly grateful for the teacher iPad and apple pencil. I now have a platform to teach from. I simply project the screen from my iPad using an apple tv, and then students can watch on the big screen as I am teaching a digital art lesson. It is incredible! Your donation has provided amazing opportunities for my students to gain valuable technology skills for their future careers. This donation has helped my students gain confidence and has increased their engagement and motivation. Tennis Everyone!\r\n\r\nStudents in grades four through eight really enjoyed being introduced to another fun, lifetime sport. I'll have to admit that at first, they were a bit shy because most of them had no idea about tennis. After three or four classes, the students really began to pick up the basic skills and have fun playing modified games. Scatter Tennis was their favorite and when students walked in the gym door, the first question was \"Are we going to play that game again today?\".\r\n\r\nIt was very helpful to have three lengths of rackets to choose from based on level of experience and comfort with racket sports. The foam balls were great for hitting safely and having lots of balls available made group hitting activities move quickly. Also, having enough balls for all students in each class to work on individual skills at the same time sped up both practice and progression. \r\n\r\nThe addition of Tennis to our Physical Education program has been wonderful! Players learned the basic skills needed to feel comfortable and confident enough to \"hit the courts \" this summer. They were made aware of resources for local Tennis camps, inexpensive gear and various available public and private court locations.\r\n\r\nSeveral students told me in the hallways in passing, that they really enjoyed Tennis and want to continue playing... that's what we want, right?\r\n\r\nAgain, a BIG QUYANA to all of the donors who made this project a reality! It is truly a blessing for our Title 1 school to have quality equipment to continue to learn and expand sports skills and knowledge with our amazing students.","fullyFundedDate":1733426120730,"projectUrl":"project/tennis-anyone-tennis-everyone/8877981/","projectTitle":"Tennis Anyone? My students absolutely love them! It is so nice to have a paint spinner for each table so students don't have to wait forever for their turn. Now a group of students at each table can work together and each add a paint color and create a collaborative piece of spin art! The first time we used the paint spinners, the students were so excited by the mixing colors and couldn't wait to see their finished products. It also taught them about color mixing because primary colors mixed together and became secondary colors. Students continually ask to use the paint spinners and I often pull them out for good behavior as a reward!\r\n\r\nThe black lights have become a wonderful addition to our art room as well! Most recently we used the black lights when we were making glow-in-the-dark slime as a reward for a class with great behavior! Students were so excited to see their slime glow under the black lights and couldn't stop talking about how cool the experience was. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for helping to provide these fun art materials for my classroom!
