Your kindness provided our students with an exciting hands-on learning experience that they will remember for a long time. The students were thrilled to become \"scientists\" as they carefully examined and dissected the owl pellets to discover what owls eat and how they survive in nature. Their excitement and curiosity filled the classroom each day during the activity, even though at first they were totally shocked and scared LOL. \r\n\r\nBecause of your donation, our students learned so much about owls, food chains, habitats, and the important role animals play in the ecosystem. Many students were amazed to find tiny bones and identify different animals inside the pellets. The experience sparked wonderful discussions, thoughtful questions, and a deeper love for science and discovery. It was incredible to watch their confidence and enthusiasm grow as they explored and learned together.\r\n\r\nThank you again for supporting our classroom and helping create such a meaningful learning opportunity for our students. Your generosity truly made a difference, and we are so grateful for your support of education and hands-on learning experiences for our class.","fullyFundedDate":1770171727149,"projectUrl":"project/whooos-ready-to-learn-about-owls/9987326/","projectTitle":"Whooo’s Ready to Learn About Owls?","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Briskey","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7172990"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_103079","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":262,"numTeachers":20,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":12,"percentWhite":64,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":16,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":4,"gradesServed":"K - 3","studentTeacherRatio":"13.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":48.1,"schoolId":103079,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Wedowee Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Wedowee Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/alabama/randolph-county-school-district/wedowee-elementary-school/103079"}
