In our classroom, this technology is used for digital design, coding, multimedia projects, and problem solving activities that mirror real world careers. The speed and reliability of this computer allow students to move smoothly from idea to finished product without long wait times or technical interruptions. Because everything runs so efficiently, students are able to focus more on learning new skills, collaborating with classmates, and refining their work instead of troubleshooting slow or outdated equipment.\r\nWhat excites students most is how professional the experience feels. They are using the same type of technology found in creative studios and technology careers, which builds confidence and motivation. Features like fast processing, strong graphics performance, and seamless integration with design and productivity tools make projects feel more \"real\" to them. Students love seeing their designs, videos, and presentations come to life instantly, and many are eager to explore advanced features such as creative apps, coding environments, and AI supported tools that help them brainstorm, edit, and improve their work.\r\nThis technology has been especially impactful for students who learn best through hands on and visual experiences. Some students who were once hesitant to participate now take the lead during projects because they feel empowered by the tools in front of them. Others have discovered new interests in digital design, computer science, and technology-based careers. Thanks to this donation, my students are not only learning academic content they are building real world skills, confidence, and excitement about their future.","fullyFundedDate":1764360706815,"projectUrl":"project/maximizing-technology-with-apple/9920764/","projectTitle":"Maximizing Technology with Apple","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Austin","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10349191_orig.png?crop=1024,1024,x0,y10&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1767365165019","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/clcaustin"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_14435","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":700,"numTeachers":28,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":81,"percentWhite":5,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":11,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"25.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":56.6,"schoolId":14435,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Goodwyn Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Goodwyn Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/alabama/montgomery-public-schools/goodwyn-junior-high-school/14435"}
