We had a little issue getting our cleaner, but it finally made it today. I know to some this project might just seem like an unimportant list of basic needs. Since our school is funded differently than our feeder schools, we have to look outside of the box for help. Something just as little as toilet paper or tissue can help to determine if our students have good day. Since all of our students have been removed from their normal school settings, we have to work very hard to make sure that they have the same education as they left. Part of this also means that we show them that just because they are no longer in their schools, they are still important. Thank you so much for helping us to enforce this message. Unlike most schools, we do not have a walk in freezer or industrial sized appliances. When our old unit died, we were really worried. This is the refrigerator where we house our students' milk and other items they have for lunch and snacks. This unit provides us with plenty of room for what we need. \r\n\r\nThis school is generally small in nature. It really depends on how many students are sent to us at a time. Since our enrollment changes all the time, we have to prepare for the case that we may have more students.\r\n\r\nThanks so much for all of your help. These mice are something that we always need because our students do all of their work online. Without help from people like you, our program would be in trouble. You do not know just how much you and Donors Choose means to us here. We are not funded like traditional public schools. Basically, each of our feeder schools shares a small portion of their funds to keep us running. In many cases, there isn't enough to keep activities going. Because of Donors Choose, we have managed to create a program that fully serves our students and has even innovated some methods for students who are enrolled with us.
