For many, this was their first time working hands-on with real electrical components instead of only reading about them in a book.\r\n\r\nThe next step for my students will be to expand beyond basic circuits into experimenting and exploring how energy can be transformed in different ways. After the holiday season, students will be experimenting and exploring the properties of matter, elements, compounds, mixtures and solutions, physical and chemical properties and changes, and synthetic vs natural products. \r\n\r\nThanks to these materials, my students are not just learning about science, they are becoming young scientists- testing, recording, and thinking critically.
