Your donations have truly made a difference in how I get to honor each student on their special day.\r\n\r\nWhen a student walks into my classroom on their birthday, their eyes immediately find a little surprise waiting on their desk that is just for them. The very first time this happened, my other students were so excited and clapped for their classmate. The birthday student stood there smiling from ear to ear, proudly holding their birthday gift. For many of my students, this is the first time they've ever had a birthday surprise waiting at school, and it means so much to them.\r\n\r\nThese individual surprises have brought so much joy and connection to our room. The class looks forward to each birthday because it gives them a chance to celebrate one another, cheer for their friends, and practice kindness in real, meaningful ways. It has helped strengthen our classroom in the sweetest way.\r\n\r\nYour support also connects directly to our character-building lessons. We talk often about belonging, kindness, and making each other feel valued. These birthday surprises give my students an opportunity to live out those lessons! they're eager to write birthday notes, offer compliments, and make the birthday child feel extra special.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the school year, our next step is growing this culture of celebration into other routines, like weekly shout-outs and kindness challenges. Your project has inspired so much positivity, and the students are already brainstorming ways to keep spreading joy.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in my students and making their birthdays unforgettable. Your generosity creates moments they will remember long after the candles and gifts are gone.","fullyFundedDate":1760893589088,"projectUrl":"project/birthday-surprises-for-every-student/9426089/","projectTitle":"Birthday Surprises for Every Student!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Holderfield","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10060869"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_103718","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":750,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":94,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":12,"percentWhite":71,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":13,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 3","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":55.6,"schoolId":103718,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Rehobeth Primary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Rehobeth Primary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/alabama/houston-county-school-district/rehobeth-elementary-school/103718"}
