Before receiving these materials, keeping student journals organized and easily accessible a was a challenge. The baskets give us a designated place to store journals, making it easier for students to find their work and put it away when finished. When my students first saw the baskets, they were excited to have a specific place for their journals and to see our classroom materials become more organized. \r\n\r\nWe are using the baskets daily as students work on journal entries, respond to writing prompts, and reflect on what they are learning in class. Having this organized system helps students take responsibility for their materials and spend less time searching for journals. \r\n\r\nThank you for helping us create an organized classroom where students can focus on their learning and take pride in their work!","fullyFundedDate":1787088303472,"projectUrl":"project/journal-organization/10491342/","projectTitle":"Journal Organization","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Pearl","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9984722_orig.png?crop=1254,1254,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1786886340076","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9984722"},{"teacherId":9984722,"projectId":10490997,"letterContent":"Thank you so much again for your generous donation of the tennis balls for my students desk chairs. As time has went on, we have been able to see just how helpful these tennis balls have been for their desk chairs and our learning environment. Your generosity has helped us solve a frustrating classroom problem with a simple, creative solution. \r\n\r\nBefore this donation, moving chairs across the classroom floor was quite an experience! Each time a student pushed in a chair, scooted closer to the desk, or got up to get a supply, the chairs made a loud screeching sound like nails on a chalkboard. Imagine hearing that sound over and over throughout the school day! \r\n\r\nNow, thanks to you, those noisy chair legs have been fitted with tennis balls, and our classroom sounds very different. Whether we are working independently, sharing ideas with classmates, or transitioning between classes, we can enjoy a more peaceful learning environment. \r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the tennis balls being put on their chairs, they were so excited! Once they began moving their chairs and noticed the difference, they could appreciate how something so ordinary could be used in such a helpful way. One of my favorite things about this project is how it addresses a problem that affected us throughout the day. During independent work, they can settle into a comfortable position without drawing everyone's attention. \r\n\r\nThank you for taking the time to support our classroom and invest in my students .
