The treasure box has quickly become a student favorite, kids can earn treats for high scores, participation, and just really trying their best. It's been amazing to see how motivated they are, especially during our STEM activities. \r\n\r\nOne moment that stood out was when students were working on improving their designs—they were so focused, helping each other, and really putting in extra effort because they knew their hard work could be recognized. And on my end, the cleaning supplies have helped me keep our space fresh and ready for learning every day, which makes a big difference.\r\n\r\n\r\nWhen I first introduced everything, the reaction was priceless, lots of excitement, big smiles, and tons of questions about how they could earn rewards! Even some of my quieter students have been more engaged and eager to participate. It's really helped build a positive, encouraging classroom vibe where students feel proud of their efforts.\r\nNext, we're going to keep that momentum going by using these rewards alongside more hands-on projects and challenges. Students will be setting goals, tracking their progress, and celebrating both their growth and achievements. I'm excited to see them continue to build confidence, work together, and have fun while learning!","fullyFundedDate":1769191963618,"projectUrl":"project/treat-treasure-trove/9984174/","projectTitle":"Treat Treasure Trove","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Wells-Pettway","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9066464_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1750197484343","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9066464"},{"teacherId":2826376,"projectId":9502572,"letterContent":"My students and I are going to use the resources that you have unselfishly donated to in order to keep our classroom smelling good as well as keeping clean. \r\n\r\nI have two outlets, located on opposite sides of the classroom designated for fragrance plugs. I am Sonja W., a sixth grade math teacher at Jones Valley Middle School. This is my twenty-first year of teaching, but my second year as a sixth grade math teacher. Middle school is.....different 😂. Aside from using electronic devices, unfortunately students many times aren't interested in the lesson. So, I am incorporating music and small snacks while they learn. I have six classes a day, with only a forty five minute period. I needed to incorporate something to keep my students on task and motivated to try to learn math. Well, music and food it is! Currently, I'm teaching adding and subtracting fractions. My students were able to use their snack to show how to either add or subtract the fractions for whole group practice. At the end of the lesson, the students ate their snack. Thank you so much for your donation.
