It is an essential part of STEM in the Gym. These are days when we combine Physical Education and STEM. My students use the Nex Playground gaming system to have fun while getting fit. This system has interactive games in which the students' bodies are the controller and they really get the heart rate up and the engagement high. We also bring out the Nex playground as an incentive for students who have integrity. It's a way for them to build a love for fitness while playing and competing. Seeing their excitement as they explore new activities and practice skills in an engaging way has been rewarding.\r\n\r\nThe alphabetical keyboards have also been a valuable resource for my students with physical disabilities and cognitive delays who struggle with handwriting and locating letters on a traditional keyboard. Having the letters arranged alphabetically makes it easier for these students to find the keys they need and participate in typing activities. These tools are helping my students access learning in ways that work for them while encouraging greater independence and participation in classroom assignments.\r\n\r\nThank you to everyone who helped make this project possible!
