My students have been adoring the whiteboards from this project, and they have already made a huge difference. We use them frequently so students can work together to brainstorm ideas, draw models, and explain their thinking. It also provides students with the ability to peer assess and leave feedback for their classmates on their work. \r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new whiteboards, they were very excited. Many of them immediately started asking if they could use them to draw diagrams and share their answers. The large size made it easier for everyone in a group to participate, and students who are usually quieter felt more comfortable contributing by writing or drawing their ideas. The boards have made learning a lot more fun and engaging for each of them. We have used them for all sorts of topics and activities throught out the past months. \r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue using the poster whiteboards for collaborative science work. Students will use them to model scientific concepts, solve problems together, and present their thinking to the class. These materials help make learning more interactive and give students more opportunities to actively participate in our lessons. Thank you for helping create a classroom where students can work together, think creatively, and share their ideas with confidence.","fullyFundedDate":1758898859118,"projectUrl":"project/big-ideas-on-big-whiteboards/9665949/","projectTitle":"Big Ideas on Big Whiteboards","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Krasinska","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9256481"},{"teacherId":1114411,"projectId":9019510,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support of our all-girls physical education program! The exercise mats have turned our \"PE in the classroom\" into a calm, focused yoga and fitness studio—giving our girls a space to stretch, strengthen, and center themselves even when we don't have access to the gym. It's been incredible to see how this change has helped them feel more confident, relaxed, and engaged in their physical well-being.\r\n\r\nThe cones have been an essential addition to our gym time, helping us set up organized drills, stations, and small group activities that build teamwork and skill development. And perhaps most exciting of all, the volleyballs and basketballs have helped us launch our very first all-girls volleyball and basketball teams! These teams have brought so much pride and excitement to our school community, and it's all possible because of your kindness.
