Flexible seating choices will give students the opportunity to chose the seating that works best for them. Students are give the autonomy to choose a location during independent work times. Allowing students to feel comfortable in the classroom limits distractions in the classroom. The choice of materials selected for this project were intended to make the classroom feel more like home and with students needs in mind. The balance balls and disks will support my learners who have difficulty sitting still and the sofa is a cozy place for a good book!! These materials will support my learners during reading, writing, and math. Allowing students to make a choice and get the ants out of their pants in an appropriate way will help them complete tasks.
