Because of your support, our classroom has been completely transformed, and I am excited to share the impact your kindness has made on our students!\r\n\r\nWhen the packages first arrived in our classroom, the atmosphere was pure magic. As soon as the students realized the boxes were filled with brand-new materials just for them, the room lit up with gasp-filled silence followed by instant cheers. Their eyes went wide as they helped unbox everything, carefully holding the items as if they were treasure. One student looked up at me and asked, \"Are these really ours to keep in our room?\" Knowing that people outside our school community believed in them enough to send these gifts gave my students an immediate sense of pride and feeling valued.\r\n\r\nDuring one standout moment, a group of students who typically struggle with quiet, independent reading were fully engaged, huddled around a table, and actively using the new tools to map out their ideas. Instead of feeling frustrated, they were laughing, sharing responsibilities, and proudly showing off their progress. The resources have provided an entry point for every type of learner in our room, allowing students with different strengths to shine and step into leadership roles.\r\n\r\nNow that our students have mastered the basics with these tools, we are taking our learning a step further. Over the next few weeks, the class will be using these materials to design and present a culminating final project to their peers. They are currently drafting their plans, conducting research, and using the new equipment to build creative presentations.\r\n\r\nYour contribution did far more than provide supplies—it sparked curiosity, boosted confidence, and created a vibrant learning environment where my students feel excited to come to class every single day. Because of your generosity, my students now have the opportunity to see themselves as real authors. The MacBook you helped provide is already becoming an essential tool in our classroom as we work on publishing our book of myths and legends from Colombia and Texas.\r\n\r\nAs an international teacher from Colombia working in Austin ISD, this project is deeply personal to me. Every day I try to build bridges between the culture I grew up with and the culture my students are growing up in here in Texas. Through this book, my students are discovering that their stories matter. They are researching legends, sharing traditions from their families, and learning that their voices belong in the world of books.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments happened when a student realized that the legend his grandmother used to tell him at home could actually become part of a real book. Suddenly writing was no longer just an assignment — it became something meaningful and exciting. Moments like that remind me why projects like this matter so much.\r\n\r\nTechnology is helping us bring these stories to life. With this new computer, students can draft, revise, and organize their ideas in ways that make the writing process more engaging and collaborative. More importantly, it gives them the chance to see their cultures and identities represented in the final product.\r\n\r\nAs someone who now calls both Colombia and Texas home, it means so much to guide students as they explore stories from these two beautiful places. Your support is helping young writers celebrate their heritage while also building confidence in their learning.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in our classroom and for making this project possible. Play-Doh became a favorite in our classroom and a meaningful way for students to explore learning across all subjects. We used it for writing by forming letters and words, for math by creating numbers and symbols, and for science as students modeled animals, plants, insects, and even planets.\r\n\r\nPlay-Doh helped make challenging subjects like reading and math feel approachable and fun. As students molded, shaped, and created, they strengthened fine motor skills, improved hand-eye coordination, and developed creativity. The calming nature of Play-Doh also helped students slow down, focus, and feel more confident as learners.\r\n\r\nBeyond academics, this hands-on learning encouraged collaboration, communication, and social growth.
