I love nothing more than the impact of surprising my students with a room transformation. It brings excitement to learning and helps build a strong classroom community.\r\n\r\nThis year I moved back to 5th grade from 3rd grade. I have many of the same students that I taught in 3rd grade two years ago. While I'm sure they would be thrilled to relive the same transformations with new content, they are going to be beyond excited to have brand new transformations this year. One of the first things many of them asked at meet the teacher was whether we would have room transformations this year. I assured them that we would and thanks to your generosity they are in for big surprises.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your support, I can't wait to make this year even bigger for these sweet 5th grade students!","fullyFundedDate":1778024128181,"projectUrl":"project/from-desks-to-destinations/10253691/","projectTitle":"From Desks to Destinations","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Anthony","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2796651_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1458424431613","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2796651"},{"teacherId":2796651,"projectId":10253618,"letterContent":"Thank you so very much for your generous donation of books at the end of last school year. They are already reading them and recommending them to their peers.\r\n\r\nI also can't wait to share the new picture books, which are always a crowd pleaser. Thank YOU! It means so much to me that you wanted to give to my class of 2nd graders! \r\n\r\nI enjoy the ease of organizing all the materials needed to facilitate learning within my classroom. The storage cart has made it so much easier to sort and store what is needed daily for my second graders. The sturdy green folders are a teacher's dream! The folders are durable and are holding up to active second graders who are learning how to take pride in their work. The folders have become a great way for the students to represent their writing and learning. I have always wanted this type of folder but never felt like I could step out and make the investment. But thanks to you I have a class set and I am beyond thankful! Now for the colorful pens....they are the star of the show.....the students love the pens! The pens may seem to be a small part, but it is huge to see children willing to write because they will get an opportunity to use a pen to make changes. Again, another moment of joy for this 2nd grade teacher! \r\n\r\nOur ELA curriculum includes writing standards that all second graders will work on this entire school year. Often writing isn't a joy and can be viewed as a non-desired task for 2nd graders. But just an opportunity to use a colorful pen, that erases, brings a little incentive to a reluctant writer and I am grateful for this donation! \r\n\r\nMy students will continue to write daily, use colorful pens to edit writing and store work in the sturdy green folders throughout the school year. I can see the cart being used for many more years to store learning materials for my students. Thank YOU for your generosity and support for me as a teacher in your community.","fullyFundedDate":1752168902128,"projectUrl":"project/williams-wonderful-writers/9442132/","projectTitle":"Williams' Wonderful Writers","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Williams","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10068579"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_47161","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":746,"numTeachers":52,"percentFrplEligible":35,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":4,"percentWhite":54,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":30,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":7,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"14.3:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":79.4,"schoolId":47161,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Woodlands Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Woodlands Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/florida/seminole-county-public-schools/woodlands-elementary-school/47161"}
