Thank YOU! It means so much to me that you wanted to give to my class of 2nd graders! \r\n\r\nI enjoy the ease of organizing all the materials needed to facilitate learning within my classroom. The storage cart has made it so much easier to sort and store what is needed daily for my second graders. The sturdy green folders are a teacher's dream! The folders are durable and are holding up to active second graders who are learning how to take pride in their work. The folders have become a great way for the students to represent their writing and learning. I have always wanted this type of folder but never felt like I could step out and make the investment. But thanks to you I have a class set and I am beyond thankful! Now for the colorful pens....they are the star of the show.....the students love the pens! The pens may seem to be a small part, but it is huge to see children willing to write because they will get an opportunity to use a pen to make changes. Again, another moment of joy for this 2nd grade teacher! \r\n\r\nOur ELA curriculum includes writing standards that all second graders will work on this entire school year. Often writing isn't a joy and can be viewed as a non-desired task for 2nd graders. But just an opportunity to use a colorful pen, that erases, brings a little incentive to a reluctant writer and I am grateful for this donation! \r\n\r\nMy students will continue to write daily, use colorful pens to edit writing and store work in the sturdy green folders throughout the school year. I can see the cart being used for many more years to store learning materials for my students. They've become instant MVPs of our learning space. While they live around my small-group table, students love grabbing them for independent or partner work whenever I'm not pulling groups—and they're in such high demand that even our resource teachers borrow them when they're supporting students.\r\n\r\nThe impact is practical and visible: the gentle movement lets students channel extra energy without disrupting instruction, which means more steady focus and fewer \"please sit still\" reminders from me. Small-group lessons feel tighter because students settle quickly and stay engaged longer. During independent work time, the stools travel across the room, helping writers who normally fidget settle into a draft, and giving readers a comfortable option that keeps them on task. The stools have also become a simple, student-directed choice that supports self-regulation—kids pick what helps them learn best.\r\n\r\nYour gift didn't just add seats; it added options—and options build ownership. Our classroom now has a flexible, student-centered setup that I can reconfigure in seconds, which is invaluable on busy school days. Thank you for investing in tools that make learning calmer, more focused, and more inclusive for every student who walks through our door.","fullyFundedDate":1755521906443,"projectUrl":"project/wobble-while-we-work-flexible-seating/9335549/","projectTitle":"Wobble While We Work – Flexible Seating for Focused Learning!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Cummings","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10025869_orig.jpg?crop=1997,1997,x0,y166&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1746647069012","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10025869"},{"teacherId":10025869,"projectId":9332832,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation of Sunshine State Books to our classroom library. Having access to such a variety of engaging and high-interest titles has given my fifth graders an exciting challenge—every time they finish a book, they earn a \"brag tag\" to proudly display their accomplishments.\r\n\r\nThe brag tags have created a buzz of friendly competition and motivation in our room. Even some of my most reluctant readers, who often struggle to finish a single book, have already completed two Sunshine State titles. Watching them not only finish but also share their enthusiasm with their classmates has been such a rewarding experience.\r\n\r\nYour support has turned reading into something my students look forward to each day. These books are sparking conversations, building confidence, and inspiring a deeper love of reading that will last well beyond this school year.
